MileBot was founded in Shenzhen in 2016 by a team of returning PhDs. The company focuses on exoskeleton robots and solutions for rehabilitation and care.
Built on compliant-actuator technology, MileBot develops active exoskeleton robots and combines connected devices, motion sensing and data platforms to support professional rehabilitation, care and personal walking assistance.

Reaching more walking-assistance settings
Completed a strategic Series B financing round of nearly RMB 100 million.
Launched the K Series exoskeleton robot, expanding into consumer applications.

Launched the lightweight 3000-STEP lower-limb exoskeleton robot.

Launched a pediatric lower-limb exoskeleton robot.
Updated the product and obtained a Guangdong Class II medical-device registration certificate from the NMPA.
C Series pediatric lower-limb exoskeleton robot Advancing research and talent development
Recognized as a Shenzhen Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base and a Shenzhen Specialized and Innovative SME.
The gait-assistance robot was included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 2023 Catalogue of Products for Older Adults.
