MileBot held its product launch on November 11, 2017, introducing the BEAR-H1 lower-limb rehabilitation exoskeleton. More than 300 guests attended, including representatives from local government, research institutions, industry and the media.

The team’s approach
CEO Dr. Chen Gong introduced the company and its development plans. CTO Dr. Ye Jing presented the technology behind the robot, and COO Hu Feng discussed cooperation and its application in rehabilitation.

Introducing BEAR-H1
BEAR-H1 uses compliant actuators and multiple sensors to support human–robot interaction. Six active joints assist movement at the hips, knees and ankles during rehabilitation training.

The launch included demonstrations of the robot’s operating modes, giving guests a closer look at its design and operation. MileBot will continue its research and development in rehabilitation robotics.
