Study objective
This study will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a lower-limb exoskeleton rehabilitation training robot for people with lower-limb motor dysfunction following a stroke.
Who can apply
Volunteers who meet the following conditions may apply:
- Stable vital signs and a stable medical condition suitable for exercise testing.
- Aged 18–75; participants of any gender may apply.
- Body weight below 85 kg and height between 1.55 m and 1.90 m.
- A first diagnosis of stroke with hemiplegia, caused by cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage, between two weeks and six months after onset.
- Sufficient upper-limb strength to hold the balance bar.
Participation
The study lasts one month. Eligible participants will receive robotic training or conventional walking training free of charge, together with free professional follow-up examinations and assessments.
Participants must attend training as scheduled and follow the research doctor’s instructions throughout the study.
About the study
The study is sponsored by Shenzhen MileBot Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. The robot has active and passive training modes and assists movement at the hips, knees and ankles during rehabilitation training.
