The 2019 Shenzhen International Rehabilitation Forum will take place from August 16 to 18. MileBot invites rehabilitation professionals to join its robotics forum on the morning of August 18 for an exchange on rehabilitation technology.

Professor Wang Jun is director of the Department of Physical Therapy at Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital. His work spans physical therapy, rehabilitation practice and professional education.

Professor Fu Chenglong is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Southern University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on robotics for human augmentation, including prosthetic systems.

Dr. Chen Gong is founder and CEO of MileBot. His research includes exoskeleton rehabilitation robots, compliant actuators and human–robot interaction.

Wang Daoyu is founder and general manager of Shanghai Zhuodao Medical Technology Co., Ltd. His work focuses on rehabilitation robots and intelligent rehabilitation solutions.

Dr. Ye Jing is co-founder and CTO of MileBot. His research covers medical robots, rehabilitation robots, movement assistance and human–robot interaction.

MileBot will also demonstrate its rehabilitation technology, including the BEAR-H1 lower-limb exoskeleton. Visitors are welcome to speak with the team and try the equipment.

About the wider conference
Professor Wang Yulong, director of the Rehabilitation Center at Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital, welcomes colleagues to the forum. The conference will bring together rehabilitation professionals to share research, clinical practice and approaches to professional training.

The program includes 17 subforums covering areas such as stroke and cardiac rehabilitation, rehabilitation nursing, occupational therapy, autism education, pediatric rehabilitation and developmental medicine, and shock wave therapy. More than 2,000 participants are expected.
Alongside academic presentations and discussions, the conference will include visits to rehabilitation institutions, an equipment exhibition and seminars on new technologies.
