MileBot participated in the second annual academic conference of the Physical Therapy Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine in Changsha, Hunan. The conference concluded on July 14, 2019.

The team demonstrated the BEAR-H1 lower-limb rehabilitation exoskeleton and discussed its design and operation with rehabilitation professionals.

BEAR-H1 uses compliant actuators and multiple sensors, with active and passive training modes. It combines training functions with the collection of movement data.
