On October 20, more than 20 representatives from the Macao Association of Physiotherapists visited MileBot. The delegation was led by Xia Jing from the Liaison Office’s publicity and cultural affairs department and association president Chen Changjian.
The visitors were welcomed by Liu Shiming from the Nanshan District science and technology innovation bureau, Guo Zhenshan from the Shenzhen High-Tech Industry Innovation Center, MileBot CEO Dr. Chen Gong and COO Hu Feng.
A closer look at rehabilitation robotics
The delegation toured the laboratory and learned about MileBot’s exoskeleton, TMS navigation robot and treadmill-based rehabilitation robot.

Liu Shiming introduced Nanshan District’s development environment. Dr. Chen presented MileBot’s team, products and development plans, followed by a discussion of robotics applications in rehabilitation and potential market cooperation.
Members of the delegation tried the exoskeleton and discussed its operation with the team.
The visit provided an opportunity for rehabilitation professionals and technology developers to exchange ideas on cooperation within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
