On July 9, KPMG held the launch and awards event for its inaugural Senior Care 50 report in Shanghai and announced the companies named to the list. MileBot was included for its work in the senior-care sector and the expansion of its application settings.

KPMG’s inaugural Senior Care 50 report draws on company research, an evaluation model and industry analysis to review the development, emerging practices and future trends of China’s senior-care sector. It presents the inaugural list and examines participating companies across business models, technology, services, industry collaboration and social value.
The report covers three areas: senior-care technology and products, senior-care services, and payment models. It organizes the sector into upstream technology and products, midstream service providers, and downstream payment models.
Drawing on industry research and company evaluations, the report examines rehabilitation and eldercare services, intelligent care products, rehabilitation aids, care robots, finance and insurance. It discusses shared challenges in service capability, business models, financial sustainability, workforce development and ecosystem partnerships, and offers recommendations on technology, service improvement, industry collaboration and payment innovation.
